Ability to add custom fields to collateral
Admins can now add custom fields to collateral types! This will provide for more intuitive reporting and allows you to better identify collateral based on your company's unique position in the marketplace.
- To access the new custom fields feature, login to your platform > Select Administration tab >DMP Configuration Center > Application Settings
- On the entry page to the Application Settings area, you will see a list of collateral types on your left which will allow you to toggle between collateral types as you work to view, add, or edit custom fields.
- The right side of the screen lays out existing fields for the specific type of collateral you have selected on the left.
- From here you can choose to edit, view, delete or add custom fields to your collateral.
To add custom fields to collateral:
- Select the "Add Custom Field" option at the top right which will open up a new screen.
- Here, you will see areas to enter a specific Name, Label, Type and Default Value to your new custom field.
- You will be able to set the data type on this screen - Date, Text (single and multi line) and Dropdown
- Once changes are saved from this screen, you will be redirected to the previous screen with a list of custom fields for that type of collateral. It will now include the one you have just added. You can select to view or edit this custom field from this screen. This is a list of customizable fields per collateral type.
