It is now easier than ever to customize your PDFs!
With the new 4.1 release, the interface that allows users to customize their PDF collateral has seen a major uplift to provide for a more aesthetic feel and fluid workflows.
To access the new interface: Login to your platform > Go to your Marketing Asset Manager (MAM) > Select a customizable PDF > Select "Customize"
This will pull up a tip window initially with a brief explanation of each of the three sections.
Once out of the tip window you will see three columns.
Column 1 (left): This column lists out all the customizable areas in list form on this PDF. You can browse throughout customizable areas, and this will correspond with the right column.
Column 2 (middle): This is the preview of the selected PDF that changes dynamically when you make updates.
- The bottom of this panel has a "Preview" button which launches the full page preview.
- Here you can see the customizable areas outlined in red.
Column 3 (Right): This column walks you through all of the editable areas with prompt arrows. Whatever section is selected on the left side will be the same area available for editing on the right side.
The following are types of editable areas pre-set by your admin that you will find in column 3 (right):
The bottom navigation bar provides a few options:
- The three rectangles in the bottom left allow you to toggle from page to page if the selected PDF is more than one page long.
- The square icon to the right of the three rectangles in the bottom left allow you to remove the borders around the editable areas on the PDF preview, if you so wish.
- The light bulb icon (also in the bottom left) will launch the help wizard.
- On the right side you will find your method of deployment for this PDF (Mail Merge, Digital Download, Fulfillment, etc.)
