Facebook has been going through several changes that may have an effect on marketing campaigns. Below are some items to take note of when using Facebook channels in the DMP for social media post.
- Re-Authorize frequently. Facebook has had several new policy changes and has been on the news lately in regards to unauthorized access to Facebook servers. This has resulted in the need to re-authorize Facebook channels.
- A Facebook post that has an image MUST have a link in the content.
- A Facebook post MUST have a title.
- There is no need to pre-shorten a URL for Facebook posts.
- Double-check video links to make sure that the content is still available.
