This page allows Administrators to search for and manage system Users and Groups in the Distributed Marketing Platform (DMP).. The first section of the Manager Users & Groups page is dedicated to searching a specific user or several users based on information stored in their profile, group membership, the status of the profile (Active/Inactive), or if there are changes to their profile that are pending approval.
Groups are reviewed and edited by clicking on the “Manage Groups” button at the bottom of the page.
Filter Options
1. Profile Field - Set to “Email” by default. This field can be set to any profile field.
2. Operator - Set to “Contains” by default. Can be set to the inverse “Does not Contain” or be set to find profile fields that begin or end with a value entered in the next field.
3. Value - This field is a free-form field that allows administrators to search for profiles based on the Profile Field that is selected.
4. User Group - Multiple groups may be selected, to narrow search results, by using the [Ctrl] key while clicking on a group.
5. Active - This drop-down allows administrators to search for Active, Inactive or both User accounts.
6. Has Pending Fields - The last filter options can be used to find all User accounts that have pending profile field changes that require approval.
Search Results
After setting the appropriate search criteria in the Filter Options section, an administrator may continue and click on the Apply Filter button to present the resulting User accounts.
1. The options along the top of the search results table affect what the table will contain and how many results appear on the page.
Visibility - This button allows an administrator to add, remove, or rearrange profile field columns to the table.
Export - There are two options when clicking on the option to export the search results; a comma-delimited file (CSV) or a Microsoft Spreadsheet (XLS) file.
2. The Actions drop-down menu that is found on each account row in the table may be used to conduct various task against the selected user account. Actions such as editing the email used to login, reset passwords or editing the profile.
3. Looking at the User Groups column can be key to resolving issues with an accounts ability to view/hide collateral or enable/disable functionality on the system. A link is provided to quickly remove a group from a user account.
4. The options available at the bottom of the table in the drop-down menu are applied to any accounts selected in the search results by clicking on the checkbox to the left of all rows.
