This page allows you to create and apply rules that execute immediately after a user is added to the platform or added/removed from a user group. These permission-based rules will modify the user's profile fields with pre-set values. You can create, edit and delete rules as well as set the order in which the rules are executed. To create the rule go to Administration>User Management>User creation rules


Create Rule

Clicking on the Create Rule button will present a dialog box to configure a new User Creation Rule. It is strongly advised to contact a Distribion trainer to discuss Creation Rules before creating new rules as these rules can begin to add a layer of complexity to the DMP that may cause confusion when dealing with users being added into various groups.

Rule Name - The friendly name for the rule
 

Profile Field - A drop-down to select from existing User profile fields
 

Profile Field Value - The value to populate the selected field when a user is added to the group(s) that the rule is set up for.
 

Set to Blank - The selected field will be cleared if this is checked and a user is added to the set group(s).
